According to an annual report by the National Bank of Cambodia, home purchase credit in the country has increased by 37 percent in 2021, illustrating a sign of growing demands for home-ownership amongst Cambodians.

- 93 km of NR7 from Tiger to Kratie, Kratie Province officially opened
The road will stretch from the roundabout of Khla Stos, Kratie city to Sambo district, Kratie province, with a length of 93.56 km and a width of 11 meters, divided into two lanes, built with the help of the Chinese government more than 33 million US dollars.

- A new road connecting NR4 to Bokor Mountain has been completed by more than 10%
As of now, the project to build a new road connecting National Road No. 4 to Bokor Mountain has reached 6.5 km or 10%. This was said by HE Chea Sophara, Minister of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction on February 6.

- PM: Kratie-Kampong Thom Bridge will open in 2023 and build a new road to Kampong Thmor
The construction of a bridge across the Mekong River between Kratie and Kampong Thom provinces is scheduled to open in 2023 under a Chinese concession loan, as well as a new road to Kampong Thmor.

- Minister: Economy may expand 5.6% in 2022
Minister of Economy and Finance has pegged Cambodia’s economic growth at 5.6 per cent for 2022, reflecting national progress towards herd immunity against Covid-19, underpinned by vaccination rates that rank among the best globally and that have motivated the government to allow the full restoration of socio-economic activity.

- 287 housing developers get licences in 2010-21: REBPB
A total of 287 housing developers – accounting for 408 projects with capital investment of more than $7 million – have been licensed by the Ministry of Economy and Finance or its Real Estate Business and Pawnshop Regulator (REBPB) from 2010-2021, according to the REBPB head.
