SUMMARY
The person is responsible for the upkeep and repair of buildings, landscapes, and equipment. This role involves a variety of tasks including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC maintenance, and general repairs to ensure properties are in excellent condition.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
- Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
- Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
- Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
- Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems. Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner.
- Address plumbing and electrical issues, perform manual repairs (e.g., fix locks, replace windows, AC, fire alarm, swimming pool).
- Perform other duties as assigned by line manager or client.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
- Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
- Good all-round skills relating to building works and fit out.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Able to work as part of a team.
